F. A. Q.

How to Play-to-Earn?

If a game or app is using the FINGI API, the virtual assets in a special inventory defined by the game or app developers will be synchronized with the user's assets on FINGI. Users can then create sell orders to sell these assets through the FINGI marketplace, or mint them and sell them as tokens. Thanks to FINGI's Zero Gas Minting technology, users don't need to have any cryptocurrency to sell their assets; they just need a crypto wallet to withdraw funds when someone buys them. This makes it easier for users to sell their in-game or in-app virtual assets and earn real money without having to have any cryptocurrency.

How to access my items on FINGI?

For the simplicity of integration, the FINGI API synchronizes with games or apps by user login (email). This means that to access their items on FINGI, users just need to sign in with the same account they use in-game or in-app. Once signed in, they will have access to any apps or games that have synchronized their items with FINGI using their selected account. This makes it easy for users to manage their virtual assets across multiple games and apps, and for developers to provide a consistent experience for their users across different platforms.

How to get items back in game?

There are three types of tokens on FINGI:

  • Permanent tokens: These are used for items such as cosmetic items, weapon skins, costumes, and permanent memberships. They are synchronized with games or apps directly while they are on the blockchain, so users can use these items inside the app while their wallet contains these tokens.

  • Mergeable tokens: These are used for items such as random drop items, spendables, craft materials, and in-game currency. To use these tokens in-game or in-app, they must be merged. To do this, users click "merge" on the item in the Assets/Tokens section, which will burn the specified number of tokens on the chain and remove them from the user's wallet. The items will then appear in the merge section and be available in the game or app at a later time, likely the next time the app is launched.

  • Time-limited tokens: These are used for subscriptions and time-limited boosters. They can be activated by burning them on the chain, which increases the time limit of the specific subscription or booster in the game or app. The FINGI API synchronizes the active token time limits directly from the blockchain.

How FINGI marketplace works?

FINGI tokens are highly customized ERC-1155 tokens based on the OpenZeppelin ERC-1155 implementation. This means that they can be traded on any platform that supports the ERC-1155 standard and can be transferred between wallets. In addition to its API, FINGI also has its own marketplace, the Zero Gas Marketplace (ZGM), and a centralized exchange called the FINGI Tokens Centralized Exchange (TEX). Both of these platforms include a creators royalty feature, which allows app and game publishers to earn a portion of the revenue from transactions made on the platform. Users can create sell orders for items or tokens at a specific price, and after they are purchased, the cryptocurrency will be transferred to the user's escrow account, which can be accessed within the Funds section of the site.
